Looks like fun.

Probably would give it a try if I were 20 years younger.

I hear about this a lot. It's best to do this ONLY if there are at least 1-2 feet of snow otherwise................... you'll be in world of hurt.

Nothing more fun than doing this in a huge empty parking lot. Those were the days...

Off topic; this reminds me of the times I would do 360's at about 30 mph on frozen lakes.

I wonder if anyone had gut riding cruiser on snow

Dirt motorcycle are easy to handle. I've tried riding Minibike on snow, Epic fails!! tires are too small to go over 1 foot of snow

Done that with my honda Nighthawk 450cc during early 90's Man! that was a experience, would I want try again.... not really. The reason was that I had no choice, no car Chevy C-10 died on me, but bike and I was student at RIT.

Since my truck is Harley-Davidson editon, then does it count, eh eh?

You means inches?

Okay, I was confused about what you was saying about measurement and I thought that feet is too thicker since inches seem make sense but... nevermind about it.

if it were 1-2 inches.... you'll most likely end up at hospital for broken leg/ankle/arm or all.

Oh interesting, is it because of very short snow cause more painful than thick snow due different of tire condition?

I think that most northern states and midwest states have snow plow that wipe snows off every early morning during snowing season but in Alabama, none at all because snows are very rare, usually 1-3 inches at max, however could be much more during winterstorm or blizzard (last time was in 1993).

because the thicker snow is - the easier it is to get around and plus - if you fall, you won't get hurt.

1-2 inches of snow... it's too slippery... nothing for tires to grip on.

Yup because of too much slippery and spinning but only surprise me about riders don't get hurt or break the arms/legs.

For my post, I means refer to icy on city road or interstate highway and I was wonder because I don't see any of motorcycles during icy condition.

you need to wonder? ach mein gott......

I don't find any of shock. :dunno:

Drive on icy road with traffic is risky, obviously and not many people want put their life at risk.

If you want to know what it is like, get on your bicycle and ride around the block in 2 inches of snow. Be sure to wear a helmet. After you recover from multiple injuries, come back and report to us why you don't think it is a good idea.

Riding in zero degree weather is better than 30 degree weather. Slush is your enemy. Still, it hurts when you fall down. Even in 3 feet of snow it still hurts.

I understand about any injuries that involve with motorcycle or bicycle in poor weather condition, especially icy and snow. I'm not interested to do like that and some of injuries can be chronic and could be only treat via surgery, also it does cause parazyle on back too if hit back too hard.

I'm glad that I don't live in snow belt so snows in here is very rare.
