I dont think I have any interest of getting myself an PS3 or Nintendo Revloution since my Xbox360 has all what I need, an very comfortable controller with a guid button turns on/off the console, has strong third party support, (about equal support as PS3), play dvds, got all the games I'm looking forward to, etc...I think Xbox360's going to be alot of action and fun for me. :P But for people who are still interested in getting the Playstation 3, which won't be out 'til spring 2006 in Japan.

Here's the latest information on the PS3:

Sony tends to be a copycat from Microsoft...

Sony said they planned to make two versions of each console that's shipped with an HDD or NOT an HDD and you would have to get an HDD as sold seperately if you get the PS3 "core system". nope this is no joke.

word has it that the PS3 with the HDD would be $400 and for the PS3 without an HDD would be $300, and buy the HDD seperately if you need one.

gee, and I thougth Sony swore they would only make one version of an console, especially with an built-in HDD! but I guess not lol...

Sony's going to use blu-ray disc techolgy, while in the future Microsoft will use HDDVD techology for the Xbox360. they have nothing to lose, that is. :D

Well, here's the article.

Cool! Sound to be good! I think 360 box look best good. Becuase there have use like computer window xp and DVD movie. Look so cool! I believe it is good.

This could be good for Sony. Sega made that mistake. Sega kept releasing their systems early and everyone else learned from Sega. Sega Dreamcast's system was cubic. Nintendo Gamecube was cubic. Sega Dreamcast's controller had a memory card slot on top. Microsoft Xbox's controller has a memory card slot on top. Sega Dreamcast's controller has red, yellow, green, and blue buttons... plus an unusual shape. Microsoft Xbox's controller has red, yellow, green, and blue buttons... plus a similar unusual shape. Since this helped Gamecube and Xbox succeed... perhaps, Sony feels that by learning from Xbox, they will succeed. ;)

Maybe or they'll stick with the classic PS2 Controller design.

I'm sure they will stick with the original design if they want the controller to be easily adaptable with PS2 and PS1 games. ;)

I agree. That Boomerang controller was a joke.

if you have digital cable and have G4, the videogame network, you would seen a brief video of Square's remake, Final Fantasy 7 on the Playstation 3 with graphics much similar to the FF7 : advent children movie...looks pretty impressive and nice, but still not alot of games that leaves me desired to buy me a PS3 yet.

speaking of PS and PS2 games, they say u can't save files on old games, but just play them anyway as much as you want.
