THE organisers of the ninth annual international Miss Deaf World contest and the newly established Miss Deaf Europe contest have invited Miss Deaf Swaziland to showcase prime fashion designers in the Miss Deaf Europe to be held on the 5th of July at Brno, Czech Republic.
This newly established contest will always take place together with the Miss Deaf World contest in one term. The 2009 contest will take place in the cities of the Brno and Prague in the Czech Republic between 1-12 July. Sizwe Ndlela, one of the organisers of Miss Deaf Swaziland said all girls with hearing disabilities from around the world and their accompanying persons would come to Prague on 1 July 2009.
"The competing girls with permanent residence in Europe will participate in the final of the Miss Deaf Europe 2009 contest on 5 July in Brno, Czech Republic. All other girls with permanent residence outside Europe will also perform in the Miss Deaf Europe 2009 contest, but only in the supporting programme as models and will showcase prime fashion designers from both the Czech Republic and abroad."

He said the girls with permanent residence outside Europe will not be competing for the title of Miss Deaf Europe 2009 on 5 July 2009.
"The competing girls with permanent residence in Europe will participate in both mentioned contests, on 5 July in Brno in the Miss Deaf Europe 2009 contest and in the international Miss Deaf World 2009 contest, which will take place on 11 July 2009 in Prague, Czech Republic." He said girls with permanent residence in Europe can learn and prepare the same free competition event which they could perform in both Miss contests.

"The departure of all competing girls from both contests and their accompanying parties is set by the organiser for 12 July 2009 from Prague, when all interested persons will be taken by the organiser by bus from the hotel to the airport, for their departures home".
He added that if any of the countries had their departure from Prague on a date later than 12 July 2009, as set by the organiser, their transport to the airport would be solved with the organiser of the contest directly in Prague, Czech Republic after their arrival to the contests."
After the Miss Deaf Europe contest, all competing girls from both Europe and the rest of the world will move to Prague by bus, where all the girls will participate in the ninth annual international Miss Deaf World contest on 11 July 2009. Therefore, girls competing in the Miss Deaf Europe 2009 contest can win placements in both Miss contests.
It is possible to win both the Miss Deaf Europe 2009 and the international Miss Deaf World 2009 titles, which will take place in the Czech Republic from the 1 - 12 of July 2009.
