Can you find an article dealing with Michigan history from Michigan Historical and Pioneer Collections and Michigan Historical Review? Anything is related about Deaf. Of course, it has to be in Michigan. Perhaps deaf school or deaf person?

I'm deaf and lives in Illinois. My hearing girlfriend lives in Grand Rapids, MI. I would like to learn more about deaf service in general---- especially in Michigan.
