The email account of Aug. 29, 2008, the day John McCain announced Palin as his running mate, tells a tale of jubilant shock and amazement from Palin devotees…
“Wow governor! Just watched you on TV!” wrote budget director Karen Rehfeld. “You knocked their socks off!”
“Can you believe it!” Palin replied. “He told me yesterday — it moved fast! Pray! I love you.”
Vice President Dick Cheney called the governor’s office requesting a call back.
“Talked to him. Thank you – you rock – i love you!!!” Palin wrote to Janice Mason, her scheduler and executive secretary.

No matter what they find, there are people that will defend her and people that will attack her. Politics as usual.

Wonder if she has any emails from Rep. Weiner? :eek3:

Gotcha: Sarah Palin’s Emails Confirm She Needs Teleprompter For Interviews
Since Palin’s emails reveal that she clearly didn’t even know where she stood on some major policies and legislation, it’s obvious that the teleprompter dependency is the only way she can answer serious questions. Since Fox News feeds her questions in advance, we haven’t seen Palin unscripted since “He there riding his horse as he warning the British (paraphrased)” and before that we had “I read any and all of them that have been put in front of me.”

Sarah Palin is not a politician. A politician by nature deals with policy. Sarah Palin is a far right evangelical puppet that can’t articulate serious answers without having someone else do the homework and feed her the answers, which Fox News then feeds to America as if it means anything. Nothing she says on Fox News means anything about Sarah Palin, because these are not Sarah Palin’s words, thoughts or policies any more than her answers on Energy TV were.

Margaret Thatcher to Sarah Palin: don't bother dropping by
Sarah Palin wants to show to the Republican right that she is the true keeper of the Ronald Reagan flame by meeting the late president's closest ally on the world stage.

A meeting with Margaret Thatcher in the centenary year of Reagan's birth would be the perfect way of launching her bid for the Republican nomination for the 2012 US presidential election.

This is what Palin told Christina Lamb in the Sunday Times:

I am going to Sudan in July and hope to stop in England on the way. I am just hoping Mrs Thatcher is well enough to see me as I so admire her.

It appears that the former prime minister has no intention of meeting the darling of the Tea Party movement. Andy McSmith reported in the Independent this morning that Palin is likely to be "thwarted" on the grounds that Thatcher, 86, rarely makes public appearances.

It would appear that the reasons go deeper than Thatcher's frail health. Her allies believe that Palin is a frivolous figure who is unworthy of an audience with the Iron Lady. This is what one ally tells me:

Lady Thatcher will not be seeing Sarah Palin. That would be belittling for Margaret. Sarah Palin is nuts.

Thatcher will show the level she punches at when she attends the unveiling of a statue of Ronald Reagan outside the US embassy in Grosvenor Square on Independence day on 4 July. This is what her ally told me:

Margaret is focusing on Ronald Reagan and will attend the unveiling of the statue. That is her level.

No doubt a rebuff from Thatcher will delight Andrew Sullivan, the creator of The Dish blog, who regards Palin as a dangerous lightweight.

It wouldn't surprise me if she had a mike in her ear telling her how to pronounce the words on the teleprompter.

Or a cattle prod to let her know when to smile, I guess. Seems like she smiles and winks at everything, even trees. :hmm:
