You misunderstood a little. He already see the movie then left to go on the way to shoot guy. They didn't said he was IN theater. He was stopped on the street later after Dark Knight Rises. So technically he is not copy cat.

Maybe I'm twisted a little (all cops and nurses are) but I was just trying to insert a little humor here! At least he was caught before he hurt anyone.

Most unstable people don't usually collect guns!!! Only a certain few and if it weren't guns it would be something else just as bad!

That brings to mind a question that is a little off topic but where will you see it with CC? Maybe you can pm me if you want with a little more info on the subject of first run movies on the big screen with CC for the deaf or HOH?

Yup, that's true and the background check prevented numerous ill citizens to buy firearm.

but... my concern is about there are many ill mental citizens who never admit to psychiatric hospital and no criminal history will pass the background check.

Other one is HIPAA law may prevented doctors and psychiatric hospital from report to state and federal unless patients are involuntary admitted to hospital.

Yup, the movie theaters with OC/CC are more common in bigger cities like LA, DC, SF, St. Louis, Atlanta, Miami, Seattle, Denver, etc.
