BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. -- Police officers reported finding a mail carrier passed out drunk in his U.S. Postal Service mail truck in Boynton Beach.

According to a release, police received a 911 call Wednesday afternoon reporting a mail truck parked on the side of a road with the driver slumped over the wheel. Officers found a 29-year-old man, whose blood alcohol content was tested to be .264 and .258, more than three times the legal limit.

The man, who was in the middle of his work day, reportedly told officers that he drank wine all night and then drank half a bottle of mouthwash to cover the smell. Florida law considers a driver with a blood alcohol level of .08 to be impaired.

The man was arrested and charged with driving under the influence.

We live about 15 minutes from here. I actually drove by the truck while the police were there. It was funny in a shocked and idiotic way. Make that so stupid I had to laugh.

I love Cliff. Norm is everyone's favorite, of course, but Cliff was a great character, too.
 
Sometimes I think our mailman is drunk. I get mail that belongs to everyone else except me. It's a nice way to meet the neighbors though.
 
Ha ha I know one Deaf guy who works as a mail carrier. He drove the truck, and looking at pager. the result was that he drove into the bush. lol

I miss CHEERS the tv show. Now i know why Cliff stopped by the bar right before he went to work.
