I came across new clear wrapped (unbroken magazine "condom") IT magazine at work and read article quickly (skimming thru) cuz I don't want my boss catch me reading it. It says that M$ is working on new NON-Windows OS from ground and up code named "Miduri". They mentioned that it shuld work with legancy hardwares and x86, x64, and ARM processor. They said will phase out M$ Windoz 8 then introduce new OS. But it mentioned it had two failed non-windows OS prior to Miduri. They are working on to be sure it's working before put it in commercial use.

Here's website:

Have anyone heard of M$ brewing new OS??

I heeard that the Vista's heading to Pluto where it wont be in our lives anymore and they are looking at building a new windows OS called 'Windows 7' under the interface of the newer XP version -- Vistas are fucking our lives for sure.

Not true, Vista isn't like Windows ME, that's very far to look like that, Vista is based on NT, same as XP but more recent OS and new features, most of bugs are ironed out after SP1 update, also need update the drivers too to keep Vista so more stable as XP does, remember, XP was buggy OS when came out in 2001 and most are ironed out after SP1, even MS update too. I had used 2001 version of XP on old Dell desktop (that's parent computer) with earlier P4, it was very buggy until we updated more builds from MS, it got better in few month and alot better after SP1 update in 2002, just 1 year after release in 2001.

I had use Vista for 1 month with SP1, no issue found, only few issues are found that caused by my network driver then I had updated the driver and issue are solved.

Vista has better security feature than XP due no integrated IE into OS and others.

Windows 7 would have some bugs after release, it happens, same with Mac OS X Leopard (10.5.0) is more buggy and little unstable until next version in end of number is release to iron out the bugs and more stable.

Computer OS owned by microsoft is always screwing us up, I'd rather cry

I ever wonder if M$ trying to duke out Apple and Linux OS? I don't think so. You know M$ always have bugs and glitch filled OS no matter how hard they worked. M$ is trying to build OS from ground to up make it imprevous to virus and hacker attack. Let's see how Midori handles

. I do know that they don't work with vendor well enuf sometime. M$ love to be in mystery and forcing vendors to figure out how to work with XP, Vista, ect... I hate complication with hardware drivers sometime.

One time I tried to install no name brand HSP modem at computer store which I purchased for my friend for $12 and it's driver installation were complicated that it requires several rebooting and using Commands ect.. I finally got it installed over an hour of struggle and it still won't dial and connect at all. So I decided to exchange modem for different branded modem. Finally, Lucent modem took me few min to install driver and got it up and running no time. It is interesting that vendors had issue with M$ not letting them to use XP kernel to program a driver to have it working 100%. Currently, M$ is willing to work with vendors for Vista.

Strange thing is that Linux are trying to work with several Hardware Vendors and they just 'snub' at Linux. ATI and some hardware vendors did a really impressive jobs working with Linux distro!.. They're trying hard to make it compatible with Linux.
