That is the most unfortunately. I think that deafies, who cannot talk or very poor speech, would get a job at a deaf location or nearby NTID or Galluadet. That's what I think that it is the best for them because they would able to get promoted and easy to communicate with deaf employees.

My friend speaks fair, not that great, and he never get a promotion for 12 years. He works as an architect. I cannot tell him what to do because he is 34 years old. He cannot afford to quit his job because he has to pay his house mortgage.
 
I have noticed some people spreading misinformation stuff here about deaf-related (cochlear implants, SEE, PSE, etc) and other things.

What I really find very annoying is whenever some people would bring up questions in a thread, other people would start talking about themselves when it has nothing do with the threads. It would be less annoying if they would make their own threads to share their experiences with us, not repeating the same crap in every thread.

IF u are referring to me..yes, I admit I got carried away with going off topic and I apologize. Totally forgot that this thread wasnt about deaf ed. Oooops. Pls forgive me. Will stoooop! :slap: me.

However about people spreading misinformation about SEE, PSE and etc...is that directed at me? If I am spreading misinformation about CIs, SEE, PSE and etc, then let me know. I wouldnt want to spread around any misinformation by accident. :ty:

I will not apology....Cloggy you did told everyone that there is no sign langauges in NOrway.... as for Lily'sdad...he told everyone he knows very little of ASL.. so be it....

Shel90, you don't owe anyone any aplogize, mostly everyone does it, I've seen it in many threads not just this one, but everywhere, and I'm not surprise he had to bring it up in this thread when it happened everywhere in AD and I think I know who he is referring this to, same old news :roll:

Hon, you don't need to explain anything, if you feel you do not owe anyone an aplogize, then fine... I'm surprise this thread is still open after all the finger pointing and etc, if a member has a plm with another member then it 's best to take it in PM land , there's no reason to pull other members into this...

few months ago Cloggy did pm'ed threatening me... i forward to Alex... then he kept harassing me on my two email addresses... i blocked him......then i went to Deafnotes.... few members disliked him because he lied telling everyone his daughter is not deaf.... she has two cis.. come on... thats why the owner of Deafnotes closed the thread and erased his posts....

Even with CIs, the child is still deaf. If some people dont want to admit that, then best is just leave them be.

I was tempted to talk about myself but NOOOO I better stop! :giggle:

I think it's time that I should be stepping in and closing this thread because obviously, it is getting out of control to the point where naming, finger-pointing and miscellaneous stuffs are going on.

If there is something else better to talk about, That's fine - I'm up for it but it is time that this needs to be put to a stop. Evidently, There are still a lot of grudges going on and for those who are at a boxing ring - take it in the PM Land, if both sides are willing to do so.
