none of them were loud enough for me, so i'm hoping someone can point me towards one that worked for them.

Most bluetooth headset are'nt powerful. It have to do with battery power and electronic components that are not well designed for maximum volume. You must have good amplifier and strong battery to pump enough volumes into speaker. I googled and found Jabra JX10 was rated the loudest. It look like it's common for people to say. Check each Google search list and you'll find common. (I typed "loudest bluetooth headset") without a quote.

loudest bluetooth headset - Google Search

Basically, all Bluetooth headsets run on battery are'nt powerful. Unless you are expert in Electronics and hack 'em by modifying the amplifier and increase voltage, then you'll get loudest headset.

I have Bluetooth Blueparrott Road Warrior B150 headset that I never use it (it was used for voice recognition program that failed to work). I am currently planning to sell it. Maybe I can check to see if it's loud cuz my hearing is 95 db on left ear. So what it is your hearing level? You can PM me if you are interested in it.

I've modified the WIRED earpieces by removing speaker and use tiny "receiving" coil from old hearing aid and put it next to my CI processor, it's dang loud that I had to turn it down to volume #2 or #3  I use "telephone" mode on my CI processor (mine is a Nucelus 24).

Maybe you could do that on your bluetooth headset if you don't care to take it apart and use old HA telecoil and remove speaker of bluetooth headset then rig a 2" or 3" wire for old telecoil can sit next to your HA or CI. Be surprised that it'll be loud!
