What a shame that those who claim to be so politically aware and concerned are not interested in correction of inequities in the justice system. Oh, well. A bigot is a bigot is a bigot.
 
We are talking about social policy and perception and the way it creates inequities in the laws, not individual drug users.

Agreed, the laws regarding drugs vary quite wildly.
 
Because of the population that is believed to use crack and the population that uses powder cocaine. Social stratification with a greater degree of punishment being leveled toward the poor and people of color.

I see it all of the times, it's a real shame that the rich often get away with a lot more than the poor.
