i have a scientific mind.YOUR faith, YOUR God and beliefs are very personal things.some people will believe anything,there are still plenty of flat earthers all over the globe.The overall average IQ of russians is now a few points higher though, do you think he was suprised as the lion was ripping his throat out??....do you all mind if i really stir things up........"intelligent design" is NOT a scientific theory its a belief and does NOT belong in a school science class, it belongs in religious class.

Under your reasoning, the "good scientist" ought to be agnostic rather than atheistic, since he or she is in a position where proof AND disproof are both impossible.

But the core issue that bothers me about your post is, why do you think it's funny to mock mass murders? Nobody in their right mind would mock the Holocaust; what makes the Roman persecutions any different?
 
The Guy was just being stupid He was testing if his view of how God works is to protect those who believe he will protect when they go do stupid things like getting in to a cage that has a hungry lion. Stupidity has already existed and usually a good percentage are found among people with extreme religion views such as Bin, Laden, Jim Jones, and even an average person who comes up to us and try to stuff a bible into out throats as the GOSPEL
of TRUTH. What is Truth? We can't get all the answers at all. Not possible. Faith? It helps but FATE usually plays a role in our life i.e. natural diasters that snuff out life of thousands of people.

The lesson here is live in the REAL WORLD, not fantasy or religious world in your mind.
