Linux boots on Intel iMacs

Linux boots on everything, from desktop PCs to toasters. What's your point?

Not everything. Nokia 6822 won't work with linux like that.

Wrong. Nokia 6822 seems to use an ARM chip, which along with x86, PPC, SPARC and MIPS is one of the best-supported architectures by Linux. That said, exactly how you would image Linux into the device's hard drive I don't know.

I dont talk about chip. I talk about operating system.

Linux is a kernel for the GNU operating system. Linux/GNU run on that chip. Therefore, any software compiled for that chip that is considered compatible (including Linux/GNU itself) would run on it. This is a simple fact of computer engineering.

As far as getting Linux to run in user-mode within another operating system, that is a completely different story.
