Who put that pornography link in my profile ? I suspect of someone here at AD who hate me so much by puttin' that link in my profile. I never put that link in my profile .... by swearin' to God that I never did do that. I was shocked when Alex notifed me about this and asked me to remove it which I DID. I am not ashamed to announce this here in my post, because I honestly KNEW that I didn't do it. Jaysus H. Chryst !

Oh boy. someone break it into your personal profile. How did they do that and how did they know your password. I am so sorry. i m glad you brought it up to alert us to be aware about our profile.

I remember seeing that pornographic web page in your profile.

Anyway, if you suspect of someone else getting in your account, bring that up with Alex and maybe he is willing to look into all IP addresses logging in your account and he could do something.

I remember about five or six months ago, someone tried to get in my account because I kept getting E-mail notification.

To stop people from getting in your account is to change to password (hard for anyone even close to you) to guess the passwords.

cyberred have you change password after you found out about the link hopefully it would not happen again and for everyone too..

if you are registered other forums using the same password, change it immediately. thats what happened to some people when an admin from another forum checks your password and tries to log in at AD. There could be other possibilities but this is a common one. talk with alex about this.

To be honest, I have no clue how they did do that. I've never passed out my password to anyone...not even to my close friends. I am glad to tell ADers about this so they will watch out for their personal profile if, it happens to them. *Sigh*

Yeah, that's what Alex notified me when I came online to check e-mails after eatin' my lunch. When I received Alex's message, I was shocked to find that there was a porno link in my profile. Geez.. I was like WTF !?! So I deleted it immediately after Alex notified me. I already notified Alex about this and explained to him that I didn't do it. There's always someone who HATES me so much and even my guts, too. I already changed my password recently.

I already changed my password. I also notified to Alex about this before I changed my password. No, I don't have the same password that I use for other forums. All forums that I am member of are different passwords. I hope that Alex got my message soon to recognize all this, because this is Alex's website. I remma right after I posted to share my sayin' under General Discussion about "terrorism" (my thread) to someone... and then, someone put that stupid link in my profile. I am hopin' that Alex don't think that it was my own purpose to put that link in. *Sigh*

Thank you everyone for your concerns and advice. I hope that Alex will do sumfin' about it right after I changed my password...otherwise, I will ask him to remove that stupid URL link box (webpage) from my profile so this way no one will be able to put that in there ever again !

Hmmm....

It could be anyone really not just someone here from AD, Someone must have known your password or maybe it was easy to guess who knows but when someone get into someone's profile they would need a password to get into it, ( just like when you sign in AD ).....I wouldn't worry about it since it was only a link no harm done .....

I'm sure Alex and the mods will take care of it!

Oh dear, it would be bad if you use the same passwords at any forums because it's easy for them to find out where you are.

Yes, I would change my password straight after found out or inform Alex straight way.

No. I don't use the same password. All my passwords are different from each forums that I am a member of. Please, read my post earlier before you say sumfin'...because, that's what "e" stated in her post. Thanks.
