I plan to set the LED string light to set in bedroom. It seem like a good idea to save up to 80% on electric bills. It's huge saver than CLF and less risk to get glasses break. Yet, better it's waterproof at most of time.

What's your thought on LED lights? Sure, it cost bit expensive, only cheap I could think of... Christmas light, haha. It also can be great as decorate indoor, in backyard, or patio.

I also have LED lamp which is best for me to read book while in bed. It's nice and brightness. It's kinda expensive appliance but it's worth!

I have a LED flashlight... the brightest thing I've ever seen for such a small handheld flashlight. :)

We have 2 LED flashlights I think. It is worth it cuz it last long time without changing damn batteries!

That's what I got. I went to SAM's Club with my dad last November and bought a 2-pack. The weird thing is that it doesn't use C batteries or AA batteries. It uses 3 AAA batteries grouped up like a C battery.

That make more longer and lightweight to carry the flashlight. Forget flashlight!

Light for home, it make great effect on electric bill and less heat during summer. For some reason that affect to have either CLF or regular bulb that cause some heat in room.

Old idea that old refrigerator use bulb as someone keep the door open while think of which food to pick and not realize bulb become heat and spoil some food closer to the light. New lately refrigerator are use LED.

Ah... and if your car breaks down on the side of the road? I guess you're screwed cuz you don't want a flashlight. ;)

I have a LED flashlight too. I upgraded it to LED with a replacement kit. :) It is a huge difference in battery drain. When it's on very low battery charge, it will stay bright for a long time! I would like to try LED bulbs for lamps to see how it looks. You have to remember that LED is spot light, not light that scatters everywhere like inscandlesent or flourscent.

Oh no... a lightning storm caused a huge power outage! You have a hard time finding matches and candles. I guess you're still screwed. ;)

With those "green" light bulbs taking over the market - they light up very slowly, etc. Word got around that you could use LED light bulbs for signalling systems.

I use LED bulbs for outdoors and signalling systems. Works like a charm.

Did you actually use a string of LED lights in bedroom? If so is it enough light for reading or just like a nightlight?

I plan to set LED string lights in bedroom so, I can see where I go in there. Right now, I already order it at online and await it deliver to my home. currently, I do have LED lamp for read the book while I'm in bed. Great effect to save on electric bills.

I'm also interest to crack on LED string lights since it come with 8 mode such as steady on, 3 different speed flash, fade in/out, etc. I want to make it connect with possible door signaler and videophone. It would rocks and more easy for signal to tell me which one I know.
