Laptop/Windows ME Error

I was on Microsoft Excel and I clicked the PREVIEW button which is right next to the PRINTER botton on the top above the spreadsheet. under the file tab (sorta), but it's on my laptop and I do not have a printer hooked up or anything and I have my setting on there as no printer but I clicked Preview to see my whole spreadsheet then it says it cannot allow it because there isnt a printer hooked up. so I ignore it and look/scroll the pages and find what I need to find, then I shut down the computer and come back to it an hour later and I get a blue screen that says WHILE INITIALIZING DEVICE SHELL

CANNOT FIND OR LOAD REQUIRED FILE KRNL386.EXE. THE FILE WAS NOT FOUND.

SYSTEM HALTED.._

I diddn't bother to research the exact cause of that error message but it's probably a driver issue. re-install your printer drivers and see if you can re-create the error. If that dosn't fix it then a reformat and re-install of your operating system is your most effiecent option. be sure to back up all your documents before you begin.
