~ Kitchen Decorate~

our condo has a contemporary kitchen w/ a morning bar - natural woods cabinets with sliver handles, sliver contemprary lights, dark blue contertops, rusty natural floor tiles, dark orange, baby yellow painted walls and many black/ sliver appliances. i love very modern stuffs... i will add some pixes of kitchen...

we have two homes so soon we will move to another house this coming march after wedding and we will remodel everything inside all will go into contemporary stuffs inside.. i cant stand country style in kitchen.. i cant wait to destory these !. :)

I don't really buy and collect them much myself but people are always giving them to me! :) I do like them. In the picture, my neighbor gave me the red and white lighthouse candle. Hubby bought the lighthouse cookie jar--the light lights up and the "horn" sounds when the lid is lifted. The little "buoys" that are hanging under the cabinet were made by my great-uncle, many, many years ago.

Yes, one small oven and one large oven. The small oven is like a toaster oven/warming oven. It is a perfect size for just Hubby and me. :)

Great suggestion because I would be interesting to see what American kitchen style alike... I saw your kitchen for a first time... It's really cool and interesting...

Here is my kitchen

This is an exactly what I have! (this picture was taken in kitchen company where we ordered to build our kitchen)


You can see the 2 drawers is for frying pan, saucepan, etc. (this is baby Alan... get bowl of soup to floor... :giggle: - thanks god, it's only leftover soup, not hot...)


You can see that we have double black & brass : oven & mircowelle

Very true, we would love to have like your small oven... Unfortunlately, we don't have like this here in Germany :(

That's why I use mircowelle to warm up leftover dishes.

Yes, I love lighthouse... We have maritim style at toilet (collect real shells, muscles, fish net, crabs, lobstuer, seagulls, different extoic fishes, one lighthouse) at toilet room. I remodel them into maritim style in 1999 with my craft work/restoration work...

My husband really loves OAK kitchen... He demand oak anything kinds... I told him Hush, not necessary!
*rolls* Sometimes He seeing kitchen simple plain and dislike this spacouis.. *rolls* give me a break.. LOL
If suppose buy a house and to see if kitchen doesn't have oak.. he'll pull it out cupboards and everything rid of it.. and new kitchen revonate "OAK Kitchen"

As for me.. who cares any kind desgins but not WHITE cupboards.... annoys seeing dirty marks on it... (scrubbing dirt off repeatly everyday) *shivers* fuss!
 
Galaxy lmao.. i'm the same way, i can't stand white either.. but i don' tlike black cabinet, i like med color of oak. not too dark or too light oak.

Color of my kitchen unit is sort of chestnut-oak (not dark and not light)...

Our kitchen need remodel since they are 23 years old. I am sick of them. Waiting for my husband to build me a new kitchen cabinets and new kitchen floor then I can show it but not now. Yuck.

Our cabinets are oak, and the floor is ceramic tile. My countertops are laminate but I want to get solid surface as soon as I can afford it (Silastone or Corian or something similar).

Our walls are painted "Beach Glass" (blue/green), with some beaded board wainscoting that is painted "sand" color.
