an upcoming film directed by one of the most acclaimed directors, Peter Jackson, well known for the Lord of The Rings triogly, King Kong, which will hit theatres winter 2005.
I've played a demo of King Kong on the Playstation 2 and man, I have got to tell you...while it is extremely rare for a movie-based videogame to be THAT good since "Riddick" on Xbox, with one of the best graphics ever seen, great voice acting, and great animation...it was one of the best Xbox games ever made.
now on King Kong, which would proably be one of the best movie-based games ever made of 2005. why? great story. great animation. one of the best creative and smooth graphics I've ever seen yet since "Resident Evil 4" on GC.
playing as Jack in FPS mode was okay...although it was pretty confusing at first and it was pretty hard of shooting the T-rex to death while I had to get the Rex some attention while I let some other guys open the door for us, etc...but I end up being a meal than a survivor lol.
but with King Kong...I definetly LOVE being the lord of the jungle, beating the crap out of everything in my way with extreme strength and intellence...it's much more fun than playing Donkey Kong lol. King Kong ain't dumb, and he is good at fighting too...throwing his powerful fists as hard as he can, and slam the giant lizards to the ground, and then grab its jaws and brake it apart...and after he killed it, he gets up and roars while beating his chest. He is definetly the real king of the jungle! :P I definetly LOVE climing on those vines, and swinging around on those tomb rocks, and get in another fight with TWO t-rexes who are trying to eat a young woman in the middle of a giant lake. It was SO fucking cool! before I would join in the fight, I keep on swinging and climbing before I would see those t-rexes coming to eat the woman, I swing on and then go body slam on them! damn that Kong sure weigh MUCH more than those t-rexes lol. he sure runs around on all four like a real gorilla, all smooth and nice animated, indeed. I had a great experience playing as kong and fighting against TWO t-rexes was a nice challenge and I killed both of them!
and saved the little lady at the end.
GGRRRRAARR! *getting up and hitting his chest* obey the true lord of the jungle!
I definetly can't wait to see the movie too.
you guys should get that game sometime...and I think I would grab that on Xbox360 when I get the console later next month lol.
