Kim Kardashian was on hand last night for the 9th annual GLAD House of Blues Benefit hosted by Ken Paves. Kardashian enjoyed the event alongside a celebrity guest list while raising much-needed funds for GLAD. The event offered a unique fund-raising platform which brought together deaf, hard of hearing and the hearing community together in support of the non-profit.
Ken Paves shortly after the event: “Wow! Tonight’s GLAD event was a huge success! Thank you to everyone who came out! Especially my special guest, the one & only Stevie Wonder!”
Kim Kardashian was among the guests who were treated to appetizers, cocktails, live music and dancing. Guests of the event included special guests Eva Longoria and Marlee Matlin as well as celebrities Kim Kardashian, Katie Leclerc, Vanessa Marano, Constance Marie, Lea Thompson, DW Moffett, Lucas Grabeel, Sean Berdy, Amber Zion, Anthony Natale, Sheri Oteri, Fabian Sanchez, Felicity Huffman, Jody Stevenson, John Maucere, Mark Levin, Michael Spady, Nyke Prince, Shoshannah Stern, Tommy Korn and Tyrone Giordano.
GLAD, the Greater Los Angeles Agency on Deafness, works hard to ensure there is equal access for the deaf and hard of hearing communities as for those who can hear. The non-profit has been working hard for the hearing impaired community since 1969 and lives by “. . . of, by, for and with the deaf and hard of hearing.”
