Kids Cell Phone

I got that information from friend of mine. I thought it is neat for kids to use that for emergency only. (911 or mom/dad, older brother/sis, grandparents, etc). I thought of get that for my son but not right now. Maybe when he's a bit older and understand what it is REALLY for.

Yeah, the "Firefly" and its ilk are out there. I dunno if I would give my kid one. If they're mature enough to have a cell phone, then they're mature enough to have a basic phone. Personally, I'd rather my kid be able to text me via SMS or something. If they could do that from a Firefly phone, great. But it doesn't look like they can.
 
thanks for the info. my kids already have cell phone I dont pay. it's my ex wife's. the links are interesting. It is good ideal for kids to protect against the kidnap or need the emergency if case of happening.

firefly dont do text or sms i told the company that i will consider if there is text feature
