Kansas City Deaf HH Gay Social Group: 2/13/2010
This group meets from 7:30 to 10 p.m. on the second Saturday of every month at Out-A-Bounds Bar & Grill at 36th and Broadway, Kansas City, Mo., Deaf, hard of hearing and hearing gays (who know or are learning sign language) are invited to this social. Allen from the group tells me they have been meeting for three years and average six to 12 people at their monthly meetings. They report the group is diverse and that ages range from 21 to 60 years old. Hearing gay people are invited if they know or want to learn sign language.
