This is my pony Justin, my aunt who used to be in competitions riding horses gave him to us when I was a baby, and we can't get rid of him now because he's a part of the family :)

Part Welsh part Shetland, the welsh side has some morgan in it I think... he's larger than most ponies, I think like 7 hands (but not sure) and is 26 years old.

We don't ride him because he was never trained, he's more like a big dog :P

Just to clear something up, a PONY is not a young horse, many people think that, a PONY is just a small horse, a young horse is called a COLT.

He's not a mini horse, Justin is much larger than that, I'm 5'8" and the top of his shoulder is around my low chest so the top of his head is about 5" high.

Hi Justin! This here's Snickers, pek1's hearing dog. I LOVE horseys!!

Disclaimer: Snickers forced me to write this "pawpoint" so thought all you would like to know. Dang . . . I gotta post her bare naked bath pictures up here and get her back! :lol:

Ok i'm gonna add something onto this if u don't mind don't take it to offense.

Pony is a different breed than horses they usually have to be about under 14 hands.

Hands are the unit of measurement used for horses 1 hand= 4 inches.

Horses are not measured by the top of their heads but by their withers. this is where the back shoulder and neck join, their is usually something of a raise when u reach the withers

Minni Horses are completely different than pony's or Horses they have to be under i believe it's like 30 inches tall or 7.5 hand

Rabbit is right pony's are not baby horses, baby horses have many different names

Colt= Male Horse Baby
Filly= Female Horse Baby
Weanling= A Horse Baby that is being weaned
Yearling= When the Baby reaches a year old

I'm sorry for going crazy but I'm alittle addicted to horses
