My name is CJ and I just joined the community today. Found it by doing some internet searches on the internet (obviously). Thanks for having me. We taught our daughter basic sign language via ASL dvds like Signing Time and My Baby Can Talk and it helped us communicate with her at a young age. None of us are deaf but ASL has helped us so much and now I'm hooked:) We run ChildSigning.com promoting sign language learning tools for children. Amazing to hear from customers about how the products have helped with autism, downs, and everything in between. It's amazing how ASL has helped and is helping so many groups.

It's been very good to learn about the deaf community and I look forward to reading and posting more. Thanks for the welcome.

Cool , Welcome to AllDeaf. I am Deaf myself but not a father yet. I am not even married yet or have children yet and it does not surprise me obivously because I am Deaf that ASL does not only benefit Deaf people but yes, a wide range of groups do benefit from ASL. Enjoy the AllDeaf website and I am sure those who are married and have children themselves will be more than happy to help you. We have both Deaf and Hearing people here on AllDeaf so you can find alots of support and feedback here. Enjoy your stay here on AllDeaf and God Bless ..... :angel:
