haven't we realise we are living in the decade of bans??
like banning used to be imposed on very illicit things like porn (when it was the time when showing women's knees was too erotic) as time went by, to when we are living now that 'research finds...therefore banned....or even worse...he or she thinks...therefore they are banned....
it's going absolutely mental

like
what will be banned next? tongs? - because say its high risk of carrying bacteria...

i'd liken to see a day when rich or powerful people are named and then banned from say a pub :giggle: - now that would be GOOD!!..
because like after all , its those narrow minded gits of the rich and powerful are the ones being the ones to sign and agree to 'ban this or ban that' to make lives of ordinary people so miserable

Until i see the day when the Queen is banned from Ireland or even a London pub, that's when we've truly got power, even very small, dammit..

I'm sick of the 'banning craze' which is rampant in 2010's...its just mad.
Policy is also another thing I noticed, it's gone too far...like from my experience, a university is not a university anymore, as it once was a place for exploring freedom...all that is gone now...it is now very controlled, its sick, what i'm also saying is, this reflects the way society is become very stifled with policy...like policy is replacing law...
law is just another policy but for use of the Police to bully people

just a thought....

I remember my dad telling men would think it was sexy to see a woman ankle out in public when he was a young man. We had things ban when I was going up , there where books we that where ban , our short dresses where not allowed to be wore in high school.
