Judge tosses DUI conviction for deaf man

umm first of all his was driving with suspended lincense?! He should've slapped with fine for that. He also drunk whilee driving?! this shows alot about his character.

I am personally embarrassed just even knowing a "deaf" person got off a very serious fine just for no terps.

I am glad he fought for a interpreter, and he kept fighting and won, but he needs to own up to his past mistake.

That's the reason why a lot of criminals get away with it... because of some mistake.

But then again, there are a lot of innocent people who get in trouble... because of some mistake as well.

I hope he learns lesson, instead of getting away with it. DUI/DWI is not acceptable, PERIOD. I, myself can't image drinking and drive and I know I will run into accidents for sure and risk killing other person. Ain't worth it.
