I subscribe to the Jerusalem Prayer Alert Report that I get in my e-mail daily. I subscribe to many different organizations and this one is an eye-opener.
Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad becomes more defiant every day. He has thumbed his nose at the nuclear governing bodies of the world; And, his threats of retaliation if anyone dare impose sanctions on Iran are more blatant.
Ahmadinejad said Friday that no Security Council resolution could make Iran give up its nuclear program.
“The Iranian nation won’t give a (expletive) about such useless resolutions,” Ahmadinejad told a crowd of people in Khorramdareh in northwestern Iran.
“Today, they want to force us to give up our way through threats and sanctions but those who resort to language of coercion should know that nuclear energy is a national demand and by the grace of God, today Iran is a nuclear country,” state-run television quoted him as saying.
Thursday, May 4, is the National Day of Prayer. There is nothing greater for which to pray than that God would intervene concerning the threats Iran is making against Israel and the United States. Ahmadinejad has threatened that if the U.S. attacks, Iran will fire missiles at our bases in Iraq, and will send a wave of suicide bombers into the U.S. Iran will attempt to draw the U.S. into a ground war that could last 10 years, and could cost as many as 250,000 lives.
Pray that the powers of hell would be bound in Jesus’ name and that God would intervene in Satan’s evil plans. Pray that God’s people would cry out to Him according to II Chronicles 7:14: “If my people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”
Pray that the Lord would speak to every heart (Esthers and Nehemiahs) to support the national prime-time intercessory special on this crisis.
If Israel attacks, Iran will fire 10,000 missiles at Israel from Lebanon, and will send a wave of terror attacks through HAMAS and more than 40,000 suicide bombers recruited to attack Jews worldwide.
We reported last week on a recent rally in New York City; a group calling themselves “Islamic Thinkers Society” waved banners and flags symbolizing the desire to bring the entire world under Islamic rule. One of the banners pictured an Islamic flag flying over the White House, as the group chanted:

Another mushroom cloud, right in the midst of Israel! Takbeer!! Allahu Akbar!
It is time for the people of God to stand up and be counted! It is time to call this nation to fall on our faces before God Almighty, repent, and seek His face for deliverance for our nation and for the nation of Israel.
