She came in my room, shaken me and signed "Mark! It's a time to get up for school now!" said mom. My name is Mark and I am 18 years old deaf guy. My hair is black and medium spike. I looked like Edward from Twilight expect my skin is natural. I am white. "Glad today is Friday!" I signed. I got up and went to bathroom that is in my room. My room looked like there tons of clothes laying everywhere along with dusty TV which I stopped watch the TV last two years ago because it is boring. The walls is black with green checkers, oh I love these colors! I took my clothes off me and turned the shower on and stepped in. I mostly love warm water. Finally I got out of the shower and I went to my dresser then put my favorite colors black with green checkers shirt and black Crash type jean. I got out of my room and walked down the stairs and sat on the table. I picked fresh apple from fruit bowl and took a big bite. Oh heaven! I love these apples! "Hey, get off the table! you know the rules, Mark." signed mom as she went in the dinning area. "Sorry mom." I signed. I looked around the dinning area and realized my brother, Devin just disappeared. My father went on job trip in Japan, his job is pastor. We are christian but not perfect. "Where is Devin?" I signed. "His friend picked him up and went to state park. It's his friend's birthday today." signed mom. "Oh cool." I signed. "Do you have any plans this weekend? People at the church misses you!" signed mom. "I don't have any plan for this weekend, so I will go to the church then." I signed. "Alright then! Hurry up and get ready. Your bus is coming early today because they called me and they got a new student, so your pick up time is shorten." signed mom as she smiles. "New student? I hope it is deaf girl." I signed and smiled hopefully. The bus arrived early than I expected. "My bus is here! See you later!" I signed and walked off toward the short bus filled with disable kids. When I stepped in the bus and I suddenly noticed the red ribbon on her beautiful smooth brown hair with shiny blue eyes with pale skin looked straight at me but say nothing. I took a seat next to her. I waved at her and pointed at my ear. It symbol meaning "Are you deaf?" or "I am deaf." "Yes I am deaf." signed the girl. "Hello, my name is Mark. Nice to meet you" I signed as I smiles. "Hi. My name is Aqua. Nice to meet you too." Aqua signed. We chatted as we on way to our high school, Pat Rick high school. I know it is sound weird name for high school but reason it named to honor Pat for being hero saved as many as he could before he were killed by bullet in back of his head from gunner. there were once shooting there. "You goes there too?" I signed. "Yeah I do." Aqua signed. As we got off the bus and there were one odd guy stared at her as she stared at him and I signed "Do you know him?". "I can't believe he goes here too. Long story. I don't wanna talk about it. Do me a favor, walk with me to my first period class." signed Aqua. "I will and beside we will have same classes together since we only have one lady signer for now." I signed. "Better than being alone in a class." Aqua signed. We walked together to our first period class, English. "Hello! My name is Mrs. Nikki! Nice to meet you. That English teacher name is Mr. John." Nikki signed as she smiles to see a new deaf student. The school bell ringed and everyone, include me and Aqua sat down the blue chair. "Okay guys, let bring out your homework from last night. I will walk each rows check for your work." said Mr. John. I bought out my homework and placed it on my desk. Mr. John walked to our row and checked my homework and nodded then gave me a thumb up. After he finished, he begun talking about new subject starting next monday. The school bell ringed. "Remember guys, new subject starting next monday!" said Mr. John. "I have a bad feelings, Aqua." I signed. "What do you mean?" Aqua signed. "That guy you just stared at right after we got off the bus..." I signed. "Okay...I knew him since we were seventh grader. Something bad things happened and he threaten to kill me. Someone heard him but I didn't hear him at all. One of my friend told me what he said to me. The someone is a teacher. He have heard him and reported to police. The police came to our school and took him away. Now he is here. I should have stayed at deaf school!" Aqua signed. I stood silent as like if I am afraid to walk over the fire pit. "Well then, I will protect you." I finally signed. "I really glad to hear that. But I don't think we should be together because if he got jealous then bad thing will happen." Aqua signed. "But if I can't be close to you then how could I protect you from that guy? Jealous? Are you saying that if you got a new boyfriend then he will kill you?" I signed. "He was...my ex boyfriend. I made a mistake date him, Xater. He did bad things while we were dating." Aqua signed. Now that makes a sense. "Still I will not let his threat control your life." I signed. "What the fuck are they said? Their hands flips as like if they came out of the water." said Xater. "Dude, that's mean." said the boy. "Got a problem with me, shit head?" said Xater. The boy backed off and walked straight to his class. Something strange black smoky around his right hand. "Bell is about to ring! Let go now!" I signed. We arrived our class on the time. So on rest of our boring day but yet, we did enjoy chat with each other. But my bad feelings grew. Something will happen, I thought.
