This time Ann Boag, chef at Bridlington's Royal British Legion Club, who makes her home-made produce to sell to raise money for worthy causes, has given £100 to the newly-formed Bridlington branch of the Yorkshire Deaf Sport Council.
The group aims to ensure sports and leisure opportunities are available for deaf people.
The organisation is totally dependent on donations for its work.
Ann's donation has been added to £50 given by the British Legion club itself to the YDSC branch, which has used some of the club's facilities.
Its first sports season began at the beginning of this month and runs until April.
