open checking account at any bank and get a check card (debit card) and they can act as credit card. Just that you only can pay what you already have in bank.

Don't apply for credit card if they ask you if you want one or you will end up maxing out your credt card.

Just ask for check card(or debit card) when you open checking account.

Check Card usually have Visa or MasterCard logo on front (holographic of course)

Alright, I would figure it out but there's alot of Mac stores in LA metro.

Thanks for helping... :)

I did saw Mac store in Chicago somewhere south from John Hancock Center. Another one I visited is in shopping mall in Illinois. It got quite numbers of softwares include games.

Check the Mac website for store near your home will help it. Do you have check card? Online stores accept check cards. I have Visa check card to shopping online and local stores.

*edit*

Oh, I see you aready got answers. Sorry for being late or overlook.

:D and :P ;) I have been Mac user since 1984 first time was at NTID in my major. and I own 4 macs since 1992 The latest is a iMac G5 (the last one before it change to iMac w/Intel inside) and I hope to own a Power Mac Quad G5 before it change from PPC to Intel.

Have anyone forget about me? I'm a Mac user also. You wouldn't bother with Mac games because they have really late ports from the PC versions, the politics aren't interested in Mac platforms. They gamble more on the PC because almost everyone uses it. I could care less because I play games on the PS2 instead which is a alternative for me. ;)

Also, don't forget that you can run Windows on the Intel Mac at full speed. They already released some kind of software for that. You could play games on them with a good video card on one of the systems.

I think they still sell Sim City 4. That is a BAD coded software and it runs slow on a fast PC or Mac. They need to hire better programmers next time with the Simcity 5 coming up in near future, I think.

Really, some people complain about The Sims 2 isn't work on G4 because it causes alot of lag but EA need more work on new game to make running so well.

What's kind of version that you have it for Mac?

The latest version 1.0.3. Maxis makes many of the 'Sims' games, I believe they messed it up.

You using G4 or G5... It's true about all Sims games are so messed up but PC is much more worse and alot of laggy. Some people that said The Sims games are running so great on Mac G5 but I wish that Sim City 4 need be shippig on PS2 and Sim City 5 would enough for PS3 because Blu-Ray Disc is based on 50GB.

G4, well even Simcity 4 runs slow on a G5. I've read lot about posts in forums long time ago. A 3 GHz PC runs Simcity 4 slow, too. Why can't it run smoothly on a Mac or PC that's speedy enough with a good video card. Blame it to the programmers who made the software.

Blu-ray disc will start out in 25GB first then 50 then 100 then 200 then finally 500Gb

Not on PS3, Blu-Ray Disc on PS3 would be only on 50GB.

I wasn't talking about for console games but general public consumptions. It's reported that 25GB blank media will be out first then increased up over the time... I wasn't referring to published media. sorry for the confusion.

(Laugh out loud) I can't stop laughing. My eyes are tearing.. I have to pause due to excessive laugh. 100? 200? 500gb? I'm still laughing. Excuse me. Either a ps3 or blu-ray player or burner, Blu-ray single layer has up to 25gb and double layer has up to 50gb. That's it. There is no such thing like 100, 200, or 500 gb unless more than two layers and then yeah you are right. But blu-ray only double layers.

I guess you didn't read more on that.. yeah there will be more than 2 layers later on... :) That's what got my brother excited about and he was telling me that yesterday as we discussed about Blu-ray disc.

later then...

Yeah I like blu-ray and hd dvd. I work for alienware and my co workers and I always talking about computers, and new tech things. But I havemt heard about triple layers for blu-ray. Only single and double. Maybe in the future
