It's a Subaru thing. You wouldn't understand

That's right, man. I see lots of lesbain drive Subarus here. Ofc, not all of them.

VW is the number one choice for gay men, too.

Actually, I have seen more BMW or Mazda 3 cars among the gay men than other cars. VW cars aren't as many though.

I moved to the south, and tell you... NEVER AGAIN move down there! I'm too Yankees for them, and that is why I moved back up in the North. If your asking me to move to the West, I'd love that, however my gf refused to go back to California. :( My mistake for her moving back East with me, I wish I had moved in with her!

Anyway, bottom line about these vehicles. It is basically personal preferance and lifestyle. Im not against any Subbies. So, don't be against us because we the Jeep started the 4 wheel drive world! Without Jeep, there might not be a subby! What I mean is that Willy (Later become Jeep) is the first vehicle featuring 4 wheel drive, then there is copycats!

There's always Arizona! Remember the famous Pink Jeeps in Sedona?

I'm not interesting in racing at all. Im more interesting in getting there where nobody else can go! :-D

There will be someday that I will take my family up in the mountain where no ordinary vehicles can go up there and camp out there for a damn peaceful weekend! This would include crossing the 3 feet deep creek, after crossing, maybe if my son want to fish there, eh not a problem who would see our fishing license? We won't be needing one.

only if we go into deep woods so we can stay on forest roads and when you go deep into woods where no one can touch and you could be first person to touch the deep wood and we can  ya that you are a founder of 4x4 trails.

i have one hard question for you, diehardbiker, if we can race eachother on forest roads, who goes faster on forest roads. i m sure you wud bite our dusts. :nana:

NC isn't bad, though, also alot of professional BMX and motorcycles are from NC.

My Subaru can't do that. I saw WRC RALLY can do like that but they use air intake at top of car like Jeep use video you showed here.

It sounds like modded jeep, who cares...

No it wasn't modified. It was orignally designed in Jeep back then when they were sold to military, and they remove the part that moves the air intake into the engine comparement for civilian. These Jeeps are very easy to add whatever you want to add.

The air intake isn't the only part that can handle deep water swimming, they got water tight spark plug system, mine is watertight, and I was able to barge in deep water, and amazed no stalling. We had real bad thunderstorm and heavy downpour, I was driving 50MPH and wasn't realize there was about 1 foot deep water puddle, I almost lost control, but MAN!!! I was covered with water and can't see nothing, Yeah, was blinded and scared! But I made though and my engine got real wet... no problem afterwards.

Your right, and they got water tight spark plug cable system. If you look in engine comparement of any Jeep Wranglers, you won't see any spark plug cables there. And if you check the air filter box, they are weird designed and actually designed to prevent water from going into engine.

Im not sure about Wrangler SE, they are cheaper and 4 cylinders and won't do well in off roads like Sport, Sahara, and Rubicon... These SE and X model is cheaper and stripped down version of Wrangler. Stay away from them, they are good for cosmetics only.

Cool, that was part of my childhood dream, having blast time off road and mud bath. Now Im close to it, hehehe...

Sorry, I really got nothing against Subby, if you guys like it, then Im fine with it.

that is hilarious ! loved that show... i was raised in 4x4 country in many yrs ago and we had gone through alot of red clay muds and swamps. lot of funs !

I saw a old movie called dante peak. a scene shows a 4x4 chevy truck submerge amost completely thru a river without stalling. I saw the snorkel on top of the cabin roof, so that helps. it almost got stuck but the rock helped gain traction. it got out of the water and drove away. that driver cheated the traffic by doing that, lol.

Same thing, Subaru Rally don't have spark plugs cable.

This is old engine from 2001 like mine. You will see spark coil at top of engine.

Now new Subaru don't have coil and spark plugs cable anymore.

They copy from RALLY's way.
