I am going to Italy with my family for a vacation between the end of June and the beginning of July... Snice that i have always wanted to have a convostation with deaf people with a different sign langauge! So the question is, Does anyone live in Italy like in Florence, or Rome? If so, Let me know... but heres the real question: How am i able to contact some deaf people to meet up espectially in Italy?

I went to Italy twice. I think that the Italians are the most animated people I ever met. Even with hearing people, you can get along great with them as they use gestures a lot. I had no problem getting around or meeting them as they are very warm and open.

There are many deaf clubs in Rome and Florence but I dont know where you can find them - maybe try Google?

I know for sure that you will have a blast there! :thumb:

But I gotta warn you, though, that their signing is so totally different from "ours" (Americans). But, yup, you are gonna have a blast!
 
Have a great time in Rome and Florence!!! I went there couple years ago- definteley a great place for sightseeing! :)

I do want to visit Italy and Sicily someday..I would like to visit Florence, Venice, Rome, Milan, Tuscany, Naples, Gildone, Etna beach (topless nude), Trieste, and few more cities in Italy. For Sicily, I don't mind visiting Palermo, Messina, Syracuse, Corleone, Castellammare del Golfo, and few other cities.
