Please let me know what camel toads are and how I might be able to tell if he is smoking, taking or licking them.

Well, if he is smoking them, you should be able to hear the scream from the next county. If he is taking them, expect the FBI to show up on your doorstep and charge him with kidnapping. If he is licking them, just look for the goofy, satisfied smile across his and his gf's faces.
