I only have "adopted"pets- my roommates two dogs, Mercy and Charlie. They're both pit bull mixes, and they love to cuddle.
Mercy also knows some tricks- she can "pound it" by putting her paw on your fist. If you ask her "What the booty do?" she wags her tail. (my roommate likes rap music a bit much-can you tell?lol) and she likes to hold hands.
We have also been adopted by a stray cat recently. Bob is an orange tabby with no tail. He started appearing in the breezeway of our building last month. He shows up every night when we come home for cuddles, then runs off.
