Is the ily sign used in sign languages other than asl?

Hi, everyone!

I've been wondering. Is the ILY sign ily used in countries where ASL didn't reach? It is used here in Jamaica, and the Deaf here use Jamaican Sign Language, a sign language similar to/descended from ASL. I don't have much exposure to sign languages other than JSL and ASL, so I thought I'd ask.

From what I've seen, Japanese sign language is way different (which isn't surprising), a friend of mine signed "I love you" to me in Japanese sign language, but it looked like "You have a funny beard" I don't know how accurate her signing was, but I thought it was really interesting.
