Name of episode
Deanne Bray was on the original 'CSI' Season 1 episode called 'Sounds of Silence'. She played the superintendent of a school for the Deaf. Here's a link:

A teacher at my school told me that Grissom actor (William Petersen) is also a CODA. That's why his signing is fluent in this episode.

I meet REAL Sue Thomas in person two years ago, she spoke at the college near my home. Yes, she is deaf and speaks real good. She now has MS.

Thank you for your replies.
I thought she is maybe HOH with progressive hearing loss and she was able to learn to speak and hear before she 's lost it completely, like me.
My hubby did say she's speaking "differently".
Kudos to Sue for overcoming her obstacles in becoming an actress! yay!!
