I'm thinking of selling my orginal Xbox to EBgames for some more games or something like that possibly next month but of course, I have like 24 Xbox games that arent even playable on Xbox360 yet. Should I wait 'til I make sure that some of my games are playable or should I just go ahead and sell my Xbox since all of my 24 games would be playable in the future (my games including Dead or Alive : Ulimate, Blood Rayne, Blood Rayne 2, Conker : Live and Reloaded, Doom 3 : Resurrection of Evil, Serious Sam, Serious Sam 2, etc...)

So far I only have some games playable on Xbox360 like Call of Duty : Finest Hour, Medal of Honor : Frontline, Doom 3, Dead or Alive 3, Spawn : Armageddon, Grand Theft Auto trilogy, Halo, Halo 2, etc...but still have alot more that I want it playable on Xbox360 so should I have some patience or just sell my Xbox anyway since Microsoft is still working on the backwards compatiablity list to allow ALL xbox games playable on Xbox360 or...naw?

I would say yes and no ...

first of all reason why say NO is cuz microsoft said they dont care about making more backward compitability for older xbox games to be playable on the xbox 360.

Yes is to get the highest price possible you shouldve traded it in last week when ebgames and gamestop had $20 extra credit for system trade in .. then you can get one later down the road who knows you will score another one for $20-25 :D LOL ....

good luck on ur decision

my decision is to keep them !!! i dont like losing money on systems or games LOL..

Keep it. But do sell it off, if you think you won't really come back to the 24 XBOX games you have now. If you will come back and play them, keep the XBOX. Trade it in if you are not playing it and are itching to get a newer game for your PS2 or 360. Flip a coin! I make a good number of decisons in my life with a simple flip of the coin. Heads you keep the XBOX, tails you sell/trade it in.

no keep it,

I'm still keeping my sega saturn even though it's outdated, but it still plays some awsome games that the ps2 don't, ie. virtua cop, elvator action 2

No, I can't believe that you spent your $1450.00 of xbox 24 games and console. if you sell those as trade to EB games or gamestop, they will buy yours, will give you credit $70 - 150.. they actually will rip you off.. trust me.. you better not selling those to ebgames or gamestop.

I suggest you better keep those but if you really wanted to get rid of those, then sell those on ebay instead of ebgames/ gamestop....

take my advice.. ;)

Or u can try sell on eBay for all 24 games, u might get some good $$$...

I would suggest that you keep everything separate. I play my PS games on my PS and my PS2 games on my PS2. That way, I keep the lifespan of my PS and PS2 separate and help them live longer. Keep your Xbox until all of your games are playable on the Xbox 360. Keep it anyway and use the Xbox for Xbox games and Xbox360 for Xbox 360 games. When your Xbox finally dies, then you can start using your Xbox games on your Xbox 360. :)

I've already traded my old xbox for a gameboy micro and a new game so that I would use a much better GBA with a much brighter screen and much smaller size and it's so damned portable and easy just right into your very pocket. gameboy mirco ONLY works with GBA games so I still have the GBA SP so that would still let me play some old gameboy and gameboy color on it anyway.

I still have some xbox games that are not yet playable on Xbox360 but at least I still have patience for the next update by Microsoft again sometime.

You can sell it at EBgames then get credit for buy DS or other game console whatever you want too.

Dude! It is up to you. if you want to sell your xbox plus all your games, then you are able to buy a new XBOX 360 and few games. To save your money for some XBOX 360 games. :)
