iPhone 4S Volume?

Anyone know if there is away of making the iPhone volume louder when it's already on max?

If there a way to get round it in the settings or an app or anything.

I'm struggling to hear on mine and would love it to be louder.

My mom (hearing) just upgraded her iPhone 4s for the iphone 5 because it's louder... they said it's a broken phone, but also just a quality of the iphone 4/4s... check to see if your phone is working right if you've tried everything else?
