Sidekicks use a private IP address that is not seen on the internet. All sidekicks go through a NAT (Network address tranalation) firewall. It is simular to what most broadband users use on their home networks. At work, we use "10" addresses for computers who need to access anything on our intranet, but nothing on the internet.172.16.0.0 - 172.31.255.255
