Hi This is my first post. Unsure what to write, cept to say glad I'm here and I wish every member well. I live in Philly with my domestic partner, Jerry. I was diagnosed with Waardenburg syndrome type two about 20 years ago.
My left eye is blue and hazel. Born with a white forelock. Got it from my dad. He's not deaf. In fact he's a musician. For real!!!

My interests are disability rights, including for deafies, deaf culture, Tarot.
Any more members with Waardenburg. I'd like to reach out to everyone.
Caveat. I may not have time to reply right away. I will asap.
I work in a social service agency in Philly with other deafies.

I have a childhood friend that has Waardenburg! I think her brother has it too, I'm not sure.. hmm.. oh well.

My Waardenburg syndrome Deaf friend's two "Waardenburg syndrome-look" Daughters, they are not Deaf too!! They have one blue and brown eyes, spit image of their Deaf Mother!!!


Anyway welcome aboard to AD !

Hi Mugwort, Welcome to you here at AD. Thanks for your welcome post in "An Australian Returns" for me.. much appreciated. Interesting to hear about you. I don't know much about the Waadenburg Syndrome, but hope to learn more about it as time goes on!. Thanks for sharing with us!
