Last week, I went to Niagara Falls, Ontario for a few days and was surprised to notice my Sprint 8703e showed that it still is online (EVDO with 'R' icon). I was able access web sites through Canadian cell network. However, I had to turn it off to avoid runaway charges. I had only turned it on to access Internet a few times while I was in Canada.
I tried to make a relay call through IP relay on my laptop at hotel but was quickly disconnected. I tried that again but it resulted the same. I finally gave it up and tried that on 8703e and was able make a relay call through. That was so weird.
Does anyone have any expereince with that? How about other wireless carriers like AT&T wireless, Verizon wireless, etc?
