I'm going to buy Surface Windows 8 Pro this Jan...with 128 gig storage. I have been see-sawing back and forth wether I should get touch screen monitor and upgrade Windows 8 but the problem is that I have dual monitors, if I buy one, who the other monitor will work, meaning I have to use mouse for left screen and touch on right screen... or I have to buy dual touch screens...then I realized... oh the hell, I'm going to get Surface Pro....

Did you read my thread? Windows 8 does work with dual monitors without touchscreen but, some games has been bugged.

In desktop mode, why would you want touch screen? Especially, during a game, I think the mouse would be much more efficient.

I am not sure about this, and I have toyed at one of local store that display these laptop. It is rather confusing, but what it appears is that touching screen seems to be faster than using mouse. Not whole faster but somewhat. I was NOT that impressed after toying them.

There is demo with M$ Surface at university bookstore and tried it, but not interested at all, just same like you - NOT IMPRESSED!!!

Yes, I read your post. What I'm talking about is dual monitors with one touch screen and other non-touch screen. How that interface? If I move the window from touch screen using fingers slide toward to non-touch monitor, will it jump to non-touch monitor? I dunno... that what I mean. So the only solution is to buy two touch screen so that I no longer use the mouse or keywboard. So, thought I'll wait later until when more and more people buy touch screen and how that turned out.

I think I'm tired of cleaning monitor(s) from fingerprint messy on touchscreen. ha

But can use stylus.

Or you can get Zagg invisibleSHIELD Smudge proof one (unforuntately none for Surface/laptop/desktop monitor) I have it on my iPad and iPhone 5 and it works so great.

Yeah, I was thinking along Photoshop which would be prefect - but will it be similar with Wacom Cintiq - I don't know... It would be nice if it's similar with that.

Yeah..since it's RT version, and I'm not impressed with it. But the Pro version will come with I5 core processor and hopefully will be better. Talking about touch screen monitor...of course it's not perfect for gamer and yes mouse and keyboard work the best when using game. For me,, I'm heavily involve with graphic (photo imagery, video and 3D operations (I'm not talking about 3D video, it's X,Y,Z axis rotations), so with mouse, I have to click alternating setting, like click to rotate, click to zoom, click to zoom out and all that shit. With touch of fingers can do all at once. You know? So, there's a real reason to it for getting touch screen monitors. now for me to get Surface Pro, I would like to do that similar to touch screen monitor. Also hopefully that ntouch will work with Pro version (Ntouch will not work with RT version) and I have many special applications will work with Pro version.

So there's lot of factors to it.

Surface Pro won't work with modern games because of integrated graphic, so only games that released in before 2006 may work like Call of Duty 2, Doom 3, Far Cry, The Sims 2, UT2, etc.

Windows 8 sucks. I had tried it today and hated it.

Apple - Magic Trackpad - Multi-Touch trackpad for your desktop.

It's perfect for relax your arm. You should try that.

I am not big fan of touch on big screen for all times.

Photoshop CS is the reason I am eyeing Surface Pro, but yes the question is will it be similiar to Wacom? Surface Pro is supposed to have wacom digitizer. We shall see.

However, for gaming, I'll stick with my customized PC gaming rig or PS3.

I received a new Dell XPS 12 and been playing around with it for over a week. I'm glad that I chose XPS 12 over Surface Pro and I will write up the comparision between XPS 12, iPad and Surface Pro later tonight.
