Do anybody know what I need ..instead running cable from bedroom to living room..looks tacky ! what can I use..some kind of Wirless NetGear..Can anybody give me the right Wireless NetGear to go with? Thanks

Um, what are you trying to do? No one can give you advise if you don't first state what the problem is.

Wireless is nice, BUT, I advise against this idea if you don't know how to set up correctly. Most of the default setting in wireless device tend to be in "Open" broadcast, and failure to enable security can have unwanted consequences, for example somebody with lappy drive by your place and find you have open wireless connectivity and CAN use your internet access for any illegal activity and these cops would think your the one who did and can arrest you. Worth that risk? Or even worse hack in your computer for your identity information, eh?

I am still struggling with Wireless set up, I have turn it off for now. UNTIL I am 100% sure it is as secured as wired version. My house is now 100% wired networking and every room have its own ports where I can plug in. I said ports because each room have at least 2 ports!

DHB is right. Wireless out of the box is not secure. You must enable WEP (wireless encryption protocol) and use a WEP key to gain access. Also don't broadcast your SSID. That way others on wireless won't even see your network
