2. One does not need a Ph.D. to be smart or knowledgeable. Bill Gates dropped out before getting his bachelor degree.

3. One does not need to be smart to get a Ph.D. There may be an exception to that in some fields, like theoretical astrophysics. But in most fields, it usually means a person is hardworking and dedicated.

Above are comments usually made by those who have failed to earn one.:cool2:
4. The cartoon's clever, but cliched by now. I've seen numerous variations of the same joke.

Are you sure you want to go there? Because you're sitting in a glass house surrounded by nothing but rocks. Picking one up and throwing it is really not a good idea.

But I even provided 2 links that supported our statements. It is not completely unreasonable. It is a very valid point.

Jiro, I appreciate irony in humor when it comes to cartoons. It's not that I have issue with that cartoon. Simply put, as I have explained a few times already, is that I see two messages being said in that cartoon. That's all.

At first, I thought you need to chill the f**k out with this "illegals go back home" joke. I came, I lol'ed, and I moved on. Simple as that. But then when you posted that chimp pix.... that brought up a very good point.

We were all outraged with the chimp pix but it was just a joke! Now about this pix, yes it's just a joke but funny thing is that you cannot be allowed to criticize/analyze it when we criticized the chimp pix.

Damn, I cannot believe it has gotten that far.

My thread headline was SUPPOSED to get your attention - that's my job - and then look at the political cartoon which I thought was so hilarious and was true - if you were to tell us that we should reclaim America, then the Indian has a perfect reason to say, "I'll help you pack."

But definitely did NOT expect it to be OVERANALYZED. It's just funny! I didn't want it to be taken seriously.

Yep. Also it applies exactly for Mexico's and Canda's situations on illegal immigrants and the fact that indigenous people were there before the Spaniards, French and European settlers came.
