Hello,

I am new to Macbook.. I tired do Video between PC and Mac it won't work due to Firewall reason. But I don't have firewall on Mac and PC. I did Video between Mac and Mac and it worked fine. But not PC to Mac for some reason. Do you know why this is happening.

Modem- Ambit
ISP- Adelphia High Speed soon to be RoadRunner dunoo when.
Router- DI-624

Try opening up some ports, maybe it'll work. Or it could be the PC user that has the firewall enabled, not you.

Oh, I need info to open some ports in Router. I don't want open wrong ports so hacker could attack both of my computer.

It didn't work. I have same problems. I put IP address that I want it open forward to my computer and it didn't work.

That's odd... Just call Apple and ask them if can address your issues.

check your device manager.. if you see any question mark and you would might have to re-install driver or anything of those question mark do the others same.

I will figure it out... I have MAC computer. I can't install driver on my MAC only PC for Router...

Because when I try do PC to Mac webcam and it appear Error Message on PC that why.

In order to solve this you need to tell us what the error message is. Even better would be to post a screenshot so we can see the error message. I can tell you this, if it is poping up on the PC, the chances are high the problem is on the PC.

Go to System Preference then click on QuickTime then click "Streaming" tab then change the speed to Intranet/LAN setting instead of Automatic.

Then that error will go away and two way video chatting will work. :)

Let me know if it does... cheers!
