I am leaving to go to a retreat at 3pm today for 4 days. I will not be available for internet until I get back on Monday afternoon.

I am back

I am finally back from the trip. it was very boring and I didn't have any fun since they didn't have computers nor tv. people in wheelchairs tried to talk to me but I got frustrated because of my deafness. they don't get it that I can't hear them (I am the only deaf guy in wheelchair). on the good side, the interpreter introduced me to her husband who is deaf and he fed me. And I had personal assistant who is hearing and he wrote back and forth, and he agreed that I would be better off with a personal assistant who is d/hh since communications are important!

I totally agree with you, but myself a disbaility, I dont like to have personal aasitant. I love to be independant person. I always go out by myself anytiime... i can travel myself. I only depend on wheelchair to anywhere.
 
Awww, RJR, I am sorry to hear the trip was a disappointment, but, on the bright side, you did get to make a new friend. What's important, is your back home now, safe and sound. Welcome home friend!!! :)
