I met Mex Cleland today

I was honored to meet former US Senator Max Cleland. He is disbled, in wheelchair, triple amputee (for ones who don't know who he is). He stayed in MN for few days, and I finally personally met him at a private BBQ for Kerry Disablity committee. I was surprised that he know one sign- I love you using his only hand that he have left on his body. Max is cool guy, would like to meet hiim again.... I did took pics from the rally and BBQ.. will get them delevoped when I use up film...

Finally ya get to meet a TRUE HERO who was unjustly smeared by that COWARD Saxby Chambliss during the 2002 GA Senate race. That caused Teresa Heinz-Kerry to finally go to the Dems (she was a Republican even though she was married to Kerry until the Cleland smearing totally disgusted Teresa and prompted her move to the Dems' side)

Max Cleland really rocked at the DNC convention last month. I hope for that Cleland will get appointed secretary of Veterans Affairs when Kerry gets elected. This will be truly Max's ultimate revenge aginast Rove and Co.

This man really did the ultimate sacrifice during the Vietnam War and he has my respect for his work in the Kerry campaign getting out the Veterans vote (Swiftshit Liars notwithstanding).

politics is your thing, right? thats good really, same with my
husband he loves politics, he is involved in it alot and meets
alot of politicians in Washington, DC cuz he is the Union president
so he gets involved in it a lot. Its not my thing but i sure did learn
alot about it from him, heh!
 
I have met Mac Cleland before. All I can say is he was quite a nice man!

Well, I didn't vote him back in the office. I guess he lost re-election because the majority of Georgians wanted some changes. I guess if John Kerry should win the election, he'll give Mac Cleland an important position in the White House. :)
