Is there a site online that shows you how to learn ASL?

I have been looking, but what I really want to learn is how to sign and understand someone who comes into McDonalds.

So far I have learned:

-How can I help you?
-I am learning sign language
-Sign slowly please

and various things like hello, thank you, and goodbye.

But I just want to know how to communicate with the deaf.

Can anyone help me? Maybe a website or a webcam thing?

Thank you, much appriciated

I have been there, and it has helped but it doesnt exactly give me quite what I am looking for.

Although I do go on there everyday, and try to learn at least 5 signs a day.

Thank you

Your welcome, what exactly are you looking for? curious :)

Well, I'm not really sure to be honest. (lol)

But, I think what I could use is to get in contact with deaf people (and here I am!).

Maybe a DVD or something, but I don't want to buy one and have it suck.

Ah maybe you can find a deaf community in your area and see if there is any event that you can go interact with deaf people.

As for DVD, I don't know any place that you can rent one. But you could find it at harriscommunication.com

Good luck! :)

Thank you so much for helping me!

It doesn't seem that there are many deaf people in Eureka, but maybe they just don't hold meetings or things of that sort.

I will keep my search going.

Once again, thank you for your time!
