I have problem with AIM

I have problem with AIM that wont show up the pictures or gif or etc whenever I send or received for example: direct connect and send the picture then after that the picture is disappear, not show the picture when done send or someone wants to send me but its disappear not show. What can I do with that?

Perhaps, it's the problem with the server. I get that sometimes. There will sometimes be nights where I can't connect to anyone or send anyone anything. Maybe, you can wait and try again tomorrow.

If not, do you have router or firewall enabled?

wonder if Christo is using Smiley central if so.. I don't see any pictures if I have smiley central on.. it stinks LOL.. few of my other friends did that too we all removed our smiley central :-D beside it lag the computer badly too

Hi Wendy,
I do have a smiley central on, but all you do is click tools next by the smiles and chess, click enable direct connect and you can send a pictures..

I know what you are talking about, I have the same problem with my aims too when it comes to sending pictures to another friend on aims , so that why I use my msn messenger to send pictures or files through there ...

Do you have msn messenger? you can send files or pictures if you still have problems with your aims because I personally don't know how to fix that problem....

I missed your post there Wendy, forgive me, I do have a smiley central and maybe you're right , Ever since I download that, my aims wouldn't send anymore pictures or files, I wonder if that where the problem is coming from if so then I would also remove my smiley central ....

I don't use the Smiley Central anymore, but I've gotten that problem a few times recently...it's probably the server -- downtime, something like that.

Angel and PurpleRose71.... I do understand that you have a problem with sending a pic... let me show you how it works when you can send... all you have is is click tools and enable direct connect.. then you can send a pic...

look at this and you will understand...

Aim1-you should see that tool

Aim 2- you can see Enable Direct Connect

Aim 3- when you done click Enable Direct Connect and it will change like that...

then you are done and send a pic/see a pic!!!
