I just saw "NEWS ALERT" on CNN:

NEWS ALERT
U.S. Supreme Court overturns part
of a Texas congressional map engineered by
former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay.

I do NOT understand this whole thing ?
 
The ruling suggests that DeLay drew congressional districts in Texas in a way that would be advantageous to the Republicans. That's what the Court is overturning.

While I don't agree with your slurs against all Republicans, I DO agree with making sure everybody plays fair. I as a Republican am more comfortable with a candidate winning a fair fight than one who wins through gerrymandering.
