Last week, I bought it at Wal-mart for Polaroid 19" HDTV. I am happy, there's no dead pixels, great TV with less cloud, also, I tried with DVD with wide-screen mode 16:9 and it looks great on HDTV! Yeah! But if you use on component cable from DVD will be not closed-captioned, however, I tried on S-video, so I see a very slightly difference like bit blurry, but it still great with captioning on S-video. I haven't tried on HDMI, because I don't have Blu-ray or something provide an connection from otherwise to my HDTV.

For folks, if you don't have cable or satellite. I tried to using an antenna for digital there is something closed-captioned comes in perfectly no matter
poor to excellent signal unless drop out or all at nothing! However, if I noticed
break out or something digital would scramble with captioning that may be messed up at very weak digital OTA signal.

s-video is good option to use, since it allow you to view with CC supportable.

for better visual, use component video cable from your dvd player to your hdtv, unfortunately, you would have to use subtitle. If lucky to have DVD with SDH.

Yeah, right. I almost forget to tell you, if you use video on analog
by component is not closed-captioning like progressive.

Anyways, I did use SDH through by component video with progressive.
I use SDH from Universal Studios is best; Buena Vista is very good, Warner Bros is now having SDH instead CC since they changed in mid-2007, that's great! Fox is not bad SDH.

I have a question: The Simpson movie does have SDH or CC on
bonus materials?

If this movie have SDH or CC on bonus materials, I will buy it anyways.
If this movie doesn't have SDH or CC on bonus material, I will rent it
from Netflix. That's simple.
